Holiday snaps: Galicia (Spain) and Oporto (Portugal)

I'm just back from spending a week visiting friends in Galicia, north-west Spain. We flew via Oporto, which is a lovely little town that I discovered for the first time - along with the delights of the francesinha.

Here are a few of my holiday photos until I get back into my blogging stride again.

Hi, I just couldn't resist to say that
maybe Porto is in fact a "little Town", but do not say it out loud the next time you're in town, or no Francesinha for you! (True Porto dwellers - Portoenses - use to say their town "is a Nation" btw, they're also known as 'Tripeiros' due to another of their specialities - Tripe with beans and rice - more traditional and yummy than Francesinhas... big or small, there ain't many towns in the world where you can have a scrumptuous meal of pig or cow intestines, and love it!
